As I drove to get my haircut yesterday the streets were quiet, save for a few groups of people and the occasional bus or motorcycle. But the police and army were out in full force for the May Day Holiday prepared to act if worker protests quickly developed and grew out of hand. It’s yet another reminder that this country is still weary from it’s recently ended civil war.
No pictures of these guys. I don’t think they would appreciate it. And I’d rather not risk snapping a picture of a man with a gun at the ready.
